Carmel

Carmel has been a valued member of the St. Vital Vet team since 2018, starting as a dedicated veterinary assistant. In 2024, she proudly graduated from Thompson Rivers University as a Registered Veterinary Technician, further strengthening her passion and expertise in animal care.

With over a decade of experience working with animals, Carmel has a deep love for creatures big and small. At home, she shares her life with a senior rabbit named Trix, four charismatic cats (Rupert, Ash, Bug, and Clover), and a sweet senior chihuahua, Peanut.

Outside of work, Carmel is happiest when she's outdoors, whether tending to her garden or dreaming up her future homestead complete with chickens and a lively herd of goats. She also has a playful side, expressed through her ever-growing collection of quirky, animal-themed tattoos.

Carmel brings warmth, dedication, and a touch of fun to our clinic, and we’re lucky to have her on our team!
